was just saying to my mates I think in a weird way Hernandez being out might benefit us.
Sakho can do a good job upfront on his own and we can go back to the 4-2-3-1

Yes ordinarily I'd agree Mr W. However Obiang has been too good to leave out imho. Arnautovic has done very little to show why we paid £25m for him.
On the other hand, it would be easier to tell Obiang he starts as a sub again than face up to a furious Arnie who I suspect might not take kindly to being dropped...

Same team as it was against Burnley, just replace Sakho for Carroll.
IF we can make it work playing 2 wingers and Lanzini in the centre against any team outside of the top 6 we will have a good 3/4 of the season to go.
Lanzini has the potential to be our Modric.
However Lanzini will probably get injured and there are question marks over Arnautovic.
Thats what he should do, and i reckon thats what he will do. As much as I do really like Obiang, you need to play Kouyate to do all that dinkey work in midfield.

I think it’s harsh to say he’s been terrible. Obiang is a very good player. He’s calm in possession, normally a decent and attacking passer, and he reads the game well. He is also much more athletic than Noble. There’s no doubt that he should be picked before the terminally ineffective Noble for every match.
